Just some fun pictures!

Here are just a couple of pictures of us within the last couple of weeks. Obviously not much has been going on but there are a few cute one.

Dallon just loves his girls!

This is a good depiction of what I do a lot. I am really into reading lately, right now I'm reading "Leven Thumps: and the Gateway to Foo."

Emma Jo loves to take our scriptures and go through the pages. We try to get them from her but she says no and runs away.

This is the wig from Halloween, Emma Jo was trying to be a diva.

Shopping!

I'm just going to tell everyone how much I hate clothes shopping. I always go with the intent to find something great and of course I walk out of MANY stores with nothing. I begin to try on pants; different brands but the same size and of course they never fit the same. I don't know about you guys but I have the problem where my pants are snug in the thighs and tush and then huge in my waist. That makes it very difficult for me to find any pants that are flattering. I then have the problem of finding shirts; I use to wear a size medium and now I am having a hard time fitting into many large shirts. Now am I getting bigger or are the shirts getting smaller for the size? Well if anyone has any good ideas of wear to shop for pants that won't expand after wearing them for 2 hours and shirts that will actually fit, please let me know.

finger and face painting

the other day we were finger painting on the kitchen table and Simon decided that there was more then just the paper that could be his palet. Simon, Life is your palet. I hope you all enjoy our little pieman, we sure do.

P.S. he loves to watch this--he cracks up and then immitates himself.

Huck Finn Day!!

For many, many years the city of Lindon has a week set aside for the "Lindon City Days". They have lots of different activities going on such as a band playing in the park, a parade, and Huck Finn Day. For the last two summers Dallon and Zeeli has enjoyed an evening in the park fishing. The city fills up the little creek by our home with about 200 fish and the children spend an hour or so fishing with their poles.

After that hour or so of fishing with the poles, the orange fence comes down and you then can fish with nets. The children go wild (just like the fish I bet) getting in the water with their nets trying to catch fish

As you can see Dallon and Zeeli caught a fish. Zeeli was very, very excited.

And now the excitement from Emma Jo. She wanted to touch the fish but was still somewhat hesitant.

It was a lot of fun. That evening they caught 3 fish but only took two home. What happened to the third fish, you might ask, Dallon slyly put it into the bishops son's net because he was sad that he wasn't catching any. What a great guy.

So I have decided that you guys are very busy or I just have too much time on my hands. These pictures are from my birthday a couple of weeks ago. Zeeli and I both had one candle to blow out.

These pictures are Emma Jo using the clicker as a phone. I wonder who she was calling.

Well it has been a long time since we have posted anything and I'm thinking it's because of the summer. For some reason we seem to be so busy. Here are a couple of things that we have been up to. The girls and I went to Pgh for 2 1/2 weeks and even though we had lots of fun, we are glad to be home. Emma Jo seemed to have a very difficult time in Pgh, it might have been the change in scenery or the fact that dad wasn't around or maybe all of the above. Since we have been back we have been busy with bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, cousins going through the temple, etc. For July 4th we attended a rodeo with Dallon's aunt and we all loved it. Zeeli's favorite was watching the princess's ride on horses. Dallon's favorite was the bull riding. Emma Jo's favorite was the magnificent fireworks and mine was "Miss Universe" who was the comic relief of the rodeo. Tiffany Holmes (Dallon's cousin) who is 12, visited with us for almost a week. Having guest always seems to drain me. Dallon took the GRE again and was much more pleased with the results. Besides that things are just moving along. Emma Jo has officially started walking and I gave Zeeli a hair cut, she loves it and I love not having to deal with the constant knots. Well here are some pictures from the events.

Emma Jo and Zeeli playing on the couch. Emma Jo was jumping up and down.

This is Zeeli's new haircut. As I was doing it I voweled to myself that I would never do it again. She is so wiggly that I kept cutting it shorter and shorter as I was trying to get it straight and I still think that it is crooked.

On July 3rd we attended a rodeo in Kamas, UT which was tons of fun.

Aren't we so good looking with our sunglasses?

In Pgh I spent a couple of nights with my sister Jessy and this is her little girl Kiera. Emma Jo and Kiera got along very well.

At the Science Center Emma Jo was having a blast.

A big group of us went to an ice cream shop in the Stript District. The kids loved their baby cones.
